Okay... so I am definitely fitting into Fairbanks now. I guess I would have to start at the beginning of the morning to explain. I was driving to work this morning, and I heard this cracking noise. So I started to look around the car, and OH MY GOD, the back left window has a huge hole in it!!! Glass was just chipping away and flying off the car! WTF? so, of course being in Fairbanks Alaska no auto glass place has the piece I need to replace it, so I have to wait until Monday to get it fixed. You all know what this means right?? you betcha! duct tape and cardboard!! yeap, I have become that person that drives around with duct tape holding pieces of my car together! according to everyone at work, it just means that I am starting to fit in here in Fairbanks! I'll take a picture of the gheto-ness when I go back outside. right now it is below zero again, so I am trying to stay inside as long as I can!
Other than that... not much else new. Work is going great, Tuesday was a procedure day so I broke out the scrubs and got dirty!! which was great!
I have a plan to go to the Ice park this weekend and look at all of the amazing sculptures! so I will post pictures of that too. Oh and the dogs and I are going skijioring with Mary from work... can you imagine Bay and Kal running ahead of me while I cross country ski (HYSTERICAL!!). So hopefully some really interesting pictures! And of course, my first visitor comes to Fairbanks in 14 days (and I can't wait to see him!!).
