So... I haven't written on this in forever. Sorry!!! I guess life just seems to get busy, and I forget to post on my adventures in Alaska. Not much has happened here in Fairbanks.I spend the week at work, and the nights and weekends getting to know Alaska and getting used to calling it home. I've been lucky enough to have a great neighbor, Matt, who keeps us company and seems to love the dogs. So that helps keep things interesting. Its always nice when I see his plane outside and know that I will have someone to talk to and relax with during the week. Some weeks the dogs are lucky and Jorge, Matt's dog, will be along for the ride.

Sarah, Dejan, and luka came to visit at the end of June. So I got to explore Alaska a little... Anchorage, Seward, Denali, Fairbanks, and then back to Anchorage! of course it was cold and rainy pretty much the entire time. But it was great to see the family! I miss them already! Alaska has such a natural beauty to it! It really is a tremendous place, one that is teaching me how to relax and enjoy the little things in life.

I made it home in July to meet my Godson!!! And he is precious... I also got to spend time with all of my friends and family. which was amazing. It made me really homesick though. So, I think the month of August was particular difficult for me.. I really missed everyone, especially Ryan. I started looking into possible transfers to a clinic in Wisconsin at this time. I loved Alaska, but I wanted to begin the rest of my life with the people I loved.

Well, so much has changed since then. Ryan and I broke up. The distance finally got to be too much for him... and I don't blame him at all. But it does change things a bit. As much as I miss everyone at home... I'm not in a big rush to move back. I know it will happen eventually, but right now I am going to continue my adventure and hopefully learn a little more about myself...

I've met such amazing people here in Fairbanks.. funny how such a small city can be so full of these great people that have influenced my life so much. I'm definitely looking forward to many adventures!
